BASIC REQUIREMENTS: • At least ten years experience in general / business aviation and basic understanding of applicable FAA regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Certificated A&P mechanic must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the performance of maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations (including return-to service requirements) on 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 aircraft.

This opening is for a 2nd shift inspector, with normal working hours from 2:00 P.M. until 10:30 P.M. Must be self-motivated with the strong decision making abilities. Will be included in week-end duty roster and must be willing to work reasonable overtime in order to meet our customers expectations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Inspectors are responsible to Senior Inspector.
Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs) and Local Work Instructions.
Advise Quality Leader when changes to Quality System and associated documentation are required.
Maintain assigned work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Provide procedural guidance to technicians and Delegated Inspectors. Must be up-to-date on scope of required inspection and coordinate efforts to ensure a timely turnaround.
Train and assist technicians in proper work procedures and practices.
Accomplish final review of Work Order (W/O) documentation prior to Final Release of articles.
Ensure that work performed is accurately reflected on W/O.
Inform Department Leaders of problems and work status so that communications with the customers are timely and complete.
Research logbooks, prepares logbook entries and sign-offs for approval for Return To Service (RTS).
RTS any article that is maintained or altered by the facility, and if applicable, certify (in the appropriate records) that the article is airworthy with respect to the work performed.
Monitor work in-progress to ensure proper paper work, procedures, techniques, and methods as prescribed by maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, approved engineering documents and other FAA approved data are used.
When performing tests that involve calibrated equipment, ensure that certification stickers on the test equipment are current and tests are documented. Coordinate execution of Malfunction, Failure, Defect (MFD) Report (FAA Form 8010-4) with the Quality Leader, when required.
Complete Major Repair and Alterations form (FAA Form 337), when required.
Accomplish preliminary, hidden damage, in-process and final inspection of all articles repaired, maintained, inspected or altered by the facility.
Report conditions adversely affecting the airworthiness of an article under repair or alteration to the Quality Leader.
In addition to normal duties, appropriately certificated and qualified personnel accomplish Non- Destructive Testing (NDT) within the scope of their authorization In Accordance With (IAW) applicable technical data.
Inspection authority does not include Required Inspection Item (RII) authority unless specifically authorized by the Commercial Air Carrier (CAC) and Quality Leader.
Are appropriately certificated IAW 14 CFR Part 65 and are considered Directly in Charge of Maintenance as defined in14 CFR Part 145. May make airworthiness determinations and/or Return Articles to Service (RTS) when authorized by the Quality Leader.

Summary:

Prior experience prints, wire harness fabrication, installation, trouble shooting & basic sheet metal This is considered a mid level position requiring some previous electronic knowledge and experience. A basic familiarity with electronic test equipment is required.

Job Summary:
We are seeking individuals with previous experience on Bell Helicopter 407 models of helicopters to provide mechanical services at a law enforcement location in Santa Rosa, California for a long term contract position. We are looking for mechanics with Inspection Authorization or who are eligible to obtain their I.A. within 90 days of hire.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant must have excellent technical and communication skills and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency is a must.
We are looking for someone with the ability to prioritize and organize work flow; Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with applicable FAA regulations and Manufacturer’s instructions.
He or She must maintain their shop environment, tools and records to a high quality standard.
The mechanic will confer with supervisors to keep them informed of status of projects. He or She will complete all required paperwork in an accurate and thorough manner and forward paperwork to the correct department for processing.

The applicant must be able to use common sense and problem-solving skills when performing repairs, inspections and maintenance for optimum efficiency.
Education and/or Experience:
Applicants must have a valid A & P license. We are seeking a person with a minimum of 2 years prior experience on Bell Helicopters 407models. Candidates with Bell 407 factory schooling will be given preference. Applicants who have their Inspection Authorization will be given preferential consideration.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least ten years of current experience specializing in the maintenance of general aviation aircraft
(piston, turboprop, and business jet aircraft).
- At least the most recent three years having experience at the management level in a Maintenance,
Repair, and Overhaul operation with strong avionics, airframe, engine, and return to service
experience as the Maintenance Supervisor/ Manager/ Director, or facility General Manager.
- Professional demeanor with clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of maintenance operation profit-loss statements and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of contract management systems, databases, project management software,
spreadsheets, and maintenance tracking software.
- A&P license is required.

POSITION:

- Manage and oversee department budget, including monitoring expenses and purchases.
- Liaison with the customer in regard to work being done and customer satisfaction.
- Help promote the company at industry events and develop strategic relationships within the industry.
- Analyze and develop processes to increase safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Maintenance Line Station - LOCATION: LAX – Los Angeles

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performing routine maintenance and major inspections on turbofan powered aircraft.
• Trouble-shooting, repair, servicing and modification of aircraft components and engines are accomplished by this position.
• Operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs.
• Using sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence and techniques, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Technically competent on assigned aircraft/engines
• Requires minimal supervision for the vast majority of his/her duties.
• At those facilities where the Senior Technician job title is not in use, the A&P Mechanic II may be assigned to lead projects based on expertise, and he/she coaches and oversees the activities of the A&P Mechanic I, providing guidance and instruction on proper mechanical procedures and techniques.
• Customer satisfaction hinges upon sound decisions and expedient action on the part of A&P mechanics.
• As customers are on site at the facilities, professional appearance and communication skills are required in order to create a positive and lasting professional relationship.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid A&P license and a driving License
• A&P II: 3-5 years turbofan engine experience (including assembly and disassembly is a plus)
• Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with aviation training
• Willing to travel to local airports as required
• Skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (if applicable):
• Must be able to walk throughout hangar, climb onto aircraft and platforms, stretch to reach areas within aircraft or engine which are difficult to access, work with hands and power tools, bend and work in tight confined spaces, lift up to 50 lbs., and speak and write clearly to communicate and document status of maintenance.
• Must be able to speak clearly and intelligibly over the phone and in person
• Must be able to operate a telephone handset, calculator, and computer keyboard
